““When I joined the LA Rise program, I was living in a shelter without a driver’s license and had limited income. The program provided over $300 to repair my windshield, plus gas money, work clothes, job leads, and funding for driving school and a rental car to help me get my license. They also offered certifications in irrigation systems, basic electrical work, CPR, and Child Development. I learned about AVPH from my doctor, who encouraged me to seek employment support. Since then, managing my life has become easier, and I’ve gained valuable insights and skills that opened up new job opportunities.”
